Ruth Ezra Brillo
Bio
Ruth Ezra Brillo is one of the newest members of our voice faculty. She is singer-songwriter, actor, and dancer. Since 2015, she has been an Alto 1 at Coro Tomasino, and is both a private voice teacher and a voice instructor at Son de Musique Studio International. Her musical career boasts performances as a soloist at the UST Christmas Concert with Ryan Cayabyab (2016), and as a member of the ensemble at the Beethoven Symphony No. 9 Concert at Meralco Theater (2016), the UST Christmas Concert (2017), the L'Elisir D'Amore Opera at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (2017), and the Carmina Burana Concert at Solaire Theater (2018).
Teacher Ruth recently graduated with a Bachelor of Music - Major in Musical Theater from the University of Santo Tomas. As a versatile artist, she can sing in three foreign languages (French, German, and Italian) and specializes in four genres (ballad, Broadway, classical, and pop). She has taken a one-on-one masterclass with Michael Lavine, a notable Broadway musical director, and plays the guitar and ukulele.
