Joanna Marie Sevilla
Bio
Joanna Marie Sevilla is a soprano, stage manager, and music teacher.
Teacher Joanna is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Theater at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Conservatory of Music. She is a member of the Coro Tomasino, where she is the soprano section leader. She was a member of Imusicapella from 2017 to 2019, when the group won in the 33rd Takarazuka International Chamber Chorus Contest in Japan (2017); participated in the Hakka Yimin Festival in Taiwan (2017), and in the European Grand Prix (2019).
Joanna attended acting workshops at the Philippine Educational Theater Association (2019); and participated in masteclasses by Lea Salonga ("Princess Lea: A Whole New Masterclass" in 2021), and Gerard and Lea Salonga ("Sibling Revelry" in 2022), both organized by the UST Conservatory of Music.
Besides performing, Joanna is also experienced as stage and production manager, serving in events such as the Pasinaya of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (2024), Indak Pilipinas Folkloric Dance Festival (2023), and in various junior and graduation recitals of UST Conservatory of Music students.
