Fredrick Saclot (a.k.a Teacher Fred) graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman - College of Music. He finished his Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar performance under the tutelage of Prof. Nathan Manimtim in 2017. He had guitar masterclasses with renowned guitar virtuosos such as Roberto Poronni (2014), Francisco Bernier (2015), Judicael Perroy (2015), and Dr. Angelo Favis (2016).

Teacher Fred has been part of the Sounds Kradle faculty for the past 7 years. Besides teaching, he creates simplified musical arrangements of songs that are tailored for the learning and development of his guitar and ukulele students.

He graduated from a graduate course in Distance Education at the University of the Philippines Open University in December 2025. It was a 2-year course that equipped him further in handling and facilitating music lessons online.

Fred first learned to play the piano at age 7, and it was in high school when he took an interest in playing the guitar, when he saw his mom play chords on the instrument. His mom is his primary inspiration in pursuing a career as a guitarist.
