Aledrain N. De Jesus
Bio
Ms. Aledrain N. De Jesus is a freelance voice artist and a valued member of the Sounds Kradle voice faculty.
Teacher Rain is a graduating student of Music Theatre at the University of Santo Tomas, Conservatory of Music, under Asst. Prof. Nenen Alfornon.
She is a member of the UST Conservatory of Music’s official choir, Coro Tomasino, under the mentorship of conductor Prof. Ronan Ferrer. She was part of the ensemble for the annual Sampung Mga Daliri concerts of the UST Conservatory of Music from 2008-12, and in the opera L'elisir d'amore by Donizetti in 2017, all staged at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. She participated in choral competitions such as the National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) and the Institut Teknologi Bandung Chorale Competition in Bandung, Indonesia in 2010. Being a member of the official choir of the Conservatory paved the way for more experiences for her on stage.
She was part of the USTCM'S first ever Broadway Revue in 2009 and landed the lead roles of Christine Daea from The Phantom of the Opera and Cosette from Les Miserables. She was part of the ensemble for the musicals Once On This Island, Miss Saigon, Company, Wicked, and South Pacific. She was recently part of Ms. Lea Salonga's Masterclass in 2021.
